Hi! My name is Barry Bowman, former President of Alpine SEO, Inc. Alpine SEO merged with SmartSearch Marketing out of Boulder, Colorado in November 2005. I was also co-owner of Alliance Marketing Group (AMG), a company dedicated to developing niche e-commerce sites, information products, and web design/development, and search marketing services. I am now a resident SEM Expert and Chief Marketing Officer for Planet Ocean Communications.

Unlike many newbie SEOs, I’ve been doing search optimization now for over 8 years. I guess you could say I’m almost a pioneer in this industry. Clients I’ve worked with include Time Warner Cable, Road Runner ISP, CDW, Enfamil Baby Formula, Hostess Cakes, Breathe Right Nasal Strips, Farmland Foods, Ruby Tuesday, Harry and David, Jackson & Perkins, and several others you may not have heard of.
Last year AMG launched BeanBagZone.com - a website selling nothing but high-end bean bag furniture. The site was launched in May 07′ and had revenues of $200k by year’s end…not bad for a brand new site, huh? AMG is in its R&D mode and plans on launching several new niche sites in the months and years to come.
